Hi, I just want to say that iam beyond happy that I choose this final resting place for my sister that was brutally murdered a few weeks ago here in santa rosa ca off Hearn ave and whitewood dr , the lady's here at sacred tidings are truly angels on earth !! ALSATIA is an amazing human being..as we'll as her assistant/ co worker she went above and beyond for my sister and family , iam so so happy and at peace knowing I laid my sister to rest in the perfect cemetery. Beautiful grass. Very clean, beautiful trees and such a warm calming environment! The guys that clean up the area are super sweet and very talented .. they all care so much ! I couldn't be happier knowing this was the right place for my sister's resting place . Alsatia and her assistant will make your life easier during these hard times ! Please don't miss out on this wonderful cemetery truly heaven on earth. Thank you. Take care.

We highly recommend this Dignity Health partner, particularly their representative, Alsatia. She was kind, professional, and very well informed, particularly regarding rules of burial and family issues. If your loved one has signed an Advance Care Directive, such as a "Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care Decisions" and it states something like this: "In the event that I am incapable of giving informed consent with respect to health care decisions, I hereby grant to the attorney-in-fact named above full power and authority to make health care decisions for me, before or after my death," etc. etc. this gives the loved one's representative the right to determine when the loved one is buried and who can see them before burial. We strongly advise getting such a directive. Clarifying these details can be very important to families at a time of crisis. Thank you Alsatia for being so helpful and kind! I highly recommend Chapel of the Chimes in Santa Rosa for advance end of life planning and suggest paying for all services in advance to make this difficult journey as smooth as possible. Kindly be aware that one funeral home can pickup and prepare the loved one for transport to another geographic area for burial, due to a large network of Dignity Health sister facilities on both ends. This is a great convenience. Thank you! Chapel of the Chimes, you are the BEST!

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Chapel of the Chimes and funeral director Althea. When my Dad started declining, someone suggested them as one of the local mortuaries I should consider setting up a funeral plan with. I spoke with Althea, and immediately felt that she was the right person to work with to create a plan for my father's eventual memorial. She was compassionate, personal, professional, flexible, available, and I always felt completely committed to fulfilling my needs, not her business'. She was especially helpful in finding ways to work within my budget, which I deeply appreciated. If you are looking for a mortuary and funeral director, I 100% recommend you consider Althea and Chapel of the Chimes-it is a very personal choice, but for our family's needs I cannot imagine working with anyone else.

Alsatia is the most caring, friendly,reassuring person I have met in a very long time. She was very helpful to me since I am on the other side of the country. She has checked on me frequently and I will actually miss talking to her..Thank her and your establishment for everything.

This review is from Calie Candia: Losing a loved one is never easy. That being said, the level of compassion, care, thoughtfulness, and utter kindness that I received from Alsatia, from Chapel of the Chimes in Santa Rosa went above and beyond, making the unbearable bearable. Her level of attention to detail, her communication to me on all matters, was prompt and timely - even her voice had a soothing effect on me with the horror of losing my husband. I would highly recommend Chapel of the Chimes to whoever needed their services.

Chapel of the Chimes provided our basic cremation services including transfer from the South San Francisco area. They were easy to work with and professional throughout. This is the local operation of a national firm, but we were working with local people here. They have done a good amount of restoration work to the facility in the past couple of years, so the place is looking good. Cremations are handled onsite, so your family member won't be "shipped around the state" for this. Good to know it's all done right here. Do call to clarify costs. They have reasonably-priced packages. My first reading was that à la carte services would really add up. Not so. The overall price was right "in the ball park." As with any funeral services, there are lots of paperwork to handle, but they made it easy. The death certificates came through just fine, too. Drop by to take a look. The CCC-era buildings and art are fun and interesting. Highly recommended.

In the past year I've had to manage the burial of two loved ones. The process is twofold if you have not gone through this before. There is the process of preparing your loved one for burial/cremation. The second part is burial/interment if you choose to go that route. I had the opportunity to pre-plan for the process of an immediate burial (funeral home process) and for a final resting place (cemetery space). Not everyone will have that opportunity. There were very few reviews for this process when I started pre-planning and wanted to write a review for each so that it may help others with this process. Brentwood Funeral Home and Chapel of the Chimes in Santa Rosa (both Dignity Memorial properties) were very professional and also compassionate when I completed the required paperwork for the final resting place and preparation for burial. See Brentwood Funeral home for the other review. When I first started looking for a finally resting place, I worked with Linda (a district manager) at Chapel of the Chimes for cremation niches. She was very friendly and patient with me with purchasing a niche. We completed all the paperwork electronically and all was in place prior to the passing of my love one. With my second love one, I worked with Karen (also a district manager). She was very patient too as we had several family members who needed to complete paperwork for an immediate burial which was also completed electronically. I would highly recommend Chapel of the Chimes in Santa Rosa for a final resting place or funeral home services. I also highly recommend to pre-plan if you're able to because it will make the process smoother and less stressful if you know what your plan is up front. Also, keep in mind that personnel could likely change from when you completed the pre-planning process to when your love one actually passes. However, the customer service in both my experiences was still excellent. A second to thing to note is that when you call the cemetery or funeral home, you may get their answering service as opposed to an individual who actually works at that site. Be patient with that part too and hopefully you will receive a call back from direct personnel soon.

Excellent service from two ladies at Chapel of the Chimes, Santa Rosa. Helped us find area where grandparents were, assisted in getting flowers into holders and in taking pictures. So very kind and friendly.

This is a sweet little chapel to hold services. If someone's wishes are keep it simple this would be a great location. Alsacia was an amazing help, helping me get through everything, especially the things you don't think about thinking about. Thank you Alsacia!

It was an excellent experience. I spend a considerable amount of time with Sarah Faith Walton going over all my options. She was very informative, meticulous, detailed, precise and extremely kind. I might also add that she was very honest and forthright. I can't rave enough about her. I actually contacted another facility for comparative pricing, and though they were nice, I was so impressed with the personal service I received from Sarah and the cost of services that were offered through the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home that I didn't even hesitate to sign a contract for myself and my husband. I highly recommend the Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home and especially Ms. Walton if you want the assurance of professionalism and thoughtfulness.
